Color is everywhere and it inspires me daily. Last month we released the color palette that inspired our branding from Clare paint. You can read that here. 

This time, I wanted to put something a little softer together, for those of you that prefer more of a soft space. This palette is not a neutral palette, but definitely has a different vibe.

Blue shades, gray shades and even a light pink shade do a little dance together. All of these colors would look great individually on a wall, but you can also use this palette as inspiration if you want all of these colors to be in one room together.

While searching for matching decor for these colors, rugs and pillows are a great way to make them all work together. I love to use items that pull all the colors together. I call these bridge items as they are used to bridge all of the colors into one cohesive space.

Below, I selected a rug and a little set of pillows as an example of how to use several items to create a cohesive look.

Choosing the right paint color is very important, and there are many things to consider before selecting one.
